We want you to feel sure that shopping on our site will meet your expectations. In fact, we hope to exceed them. Here is all you need to know about shopping with SimplyPens.
Your order
To order a pen, simply add it to your shopping basket and check out when you are ready. You can change quantities and delete items if you change your mind at any stage before you confirm your order. If you have a promotion code, enter it in the box provided to receive your discount. You can also select gift wrap at this stage and type in a personal message for a gift card if you want us to include one. Once your order is received, we will send you a confirmation email so you can be sure it is in hand.
Please note: At present, we are only able to accept orders from the UK.
Paying online
Only credit and debit card orders are taken at SimplyPens. We are sorry that payment by cheque is not accepted, and hope you can understand that in order to offer you our best prices, we need to keep things simple and efficient. All payments are taken on a secure site, using 128bit encryption and managed by Optimal Payments (see Security). All major credit cards except American Express and Diners Card are accepted. Once you have completed payment, a link to your invoice is provided on your purchase confimation page which you can print out immediately if you wish. As long as your purchase is not a gift to a different address, we will also enclose this invoice in your package. Your payments are referenced in your bank account as to Fizmedia, the business which owns and operates SimplyPens.
Gift service
If you are buying your pen as a gift and provide us with a different name and delivery address, we won't include a printed invoice for your order in the package. If the delivery address is different but the name is still your own (you are sending it to yourself), we will include your invoice for your records.
Security
We take online security very seriously and thanks to our service provider Optimal Payments, comply with UK best practice. Optimal Payments is an international leader in the payment service industry, and has helped its clients accept payments from millions of customers around the globe. They offer us a wealth of experience which in turn provides us, and our customers, with a dependable and secure environment in which to take payment.
Delivery
The great thing about SimplyPens is that the price you see is the price you pay; delivery is free of charge! Free delivery entitles you to receive your pen by Royal Mail Signed For (recorded delivery) and delivery is typically within 3-7 days of payment. If we think there may be a delay with your order, or if postal action is affecting deliveries, we will let you know. In the rare event we have a stock diificulty, we will notify you promptly with our best solution. If you want to specify a different address for delivery, or your item is a gift, you may say so during payment.
Coming soon: For customers who require speedier, guaranteed delivery, we will soon be introducing a paid Special Delivery option.
Returns and Exchanges
Although we aim always to satisfy, we realise that occasionally things go wrong with a purchase. If you are unhappy with your product or our service has let you down in some way, we will try our best to rectify the situation with you, and we will offer you the options of a free exchange or refund.
If you change your mind about the goods you have ordered, we will also allow you the option of an exchange or refund, but we may have to charge you administration anmd postage costs. We will try to avoid doing this, as our wish is to keep happy customers, but if we must we will keep costs as minimal as possible.
All goods for return will need to be sent to us within 30 days of their purchase date in their original packing and in a re-saleable condition (unless damaged). We advise you use recorded or special delivery for security and insurance reasons.
In the rare event your pen has arrived damaged or faulty, we ask that you treat this with urgency and notify us within 14 days so that we can activate any necessary claims. Please also return any damaged materials or packaging along with your pen as these may be required as evidence. We will happily refund your return postage costs, so please obtain and enclose proof of postage with your return.
Whenever we are at fault we will refund your postage costs. If the item is not faulty or damaged, we regret that return postage costs will not be refunded.
In the rare event that a fault develops during your period of manufacturers warranty (typically 1 year minimum), please notify us with a full description of the problem and we will advise you of the best and quickest way to arrange your replacement.
To notify us of any problems and arrange a return, please email us in the first instance using returns@simplypens.co.uk. Please be assured that this will be the most effective way of contacting us initially, and we will respond with full advice on how to proceed. No-one wants things to go wrong, and with this in mind we will do our best to make things as transparent and painless as possible.

This site is intended for use in the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom. All information published is provided 'as is' and is intended for general guidance to consumers in the selection of pens sold here. We do our utmost to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are correct. However we reserve the right to validate those prices and any other information or inclusions before we process your order.
We will not accept liability for any errors in the description of goods on the website, and reserve the right to change descriptions at any time. We will do our utmost to correct any problems as soon as we become aware of them.
Contracts
When placing an order with SimplyPens, you are making an offer to purchase the goods contained within that order. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order.
Contracts between purchasers and SimplyPens are only deemed to exist once we have acknowledged and accepted your order by email, and confirmed that your goods have been dispatched. Copies of these communications serve as proof of your contract with us.
Trademarks
All trade marks and registered trademarks shown on this site are acknowledged as belonging to the relevant company.
Other
SimplyPens will not be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included on this site.
